Structural Details
Item:
Specify the Theater envelope's structural details, e.g.,
framing, sheathing, insulating, decoupling, isolating and
caulking as acoustically appropriate.
Relevance:
Most walls and ceilings flex, i.e., absorb sound. This fact
can work against good sound, or can be harnessed to improve sound
quality, esp. in the bass and mid-bass, where special effects
and male dialog energy is typically high.
Form: Dimensioned, computer-generated drawings.
